Assembly Technician

The Position:

The assembly technician is responsible for the building, testing, and shipping of the company's inverter products. The position involves assembly of electronic components into the inverter cabinet, testing, packaging, and shipping of the inverters, receiving, shelving, and kitting of inverter subcomponents. Other typical warehouse and housekeeping duties apply. Special Skills / Requirements:
  • ability to follow detailed assembly and testing instructions
  • ability to lift heavy objects
  • basic PC computer skills (email, MS office, etc.)
  • strong attention to detail and passion to provide 100% quality products and customer satisfaction
  • self motivated, strong work ethic, quick learner, demonstrated sense of urgency, 'get-it-done, whatever it takes' attitude
  • strong electrical / mechanical aptitudes; prior experience in a lean manufacturing / high-tech environment preferred.
  • diligently follows company safety practices
  • Professional team player who contributes to a hard working but rewarding environment

Educational Requirements:

Must have high school degree at a minimum. 2 year or 4 year college degree preferred. Emphasis or classes in renewable energy technologies, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing preferred.

Pay Rate & Hour:

Typically $12.50-13.50/hr to start. Hours are generally 8am to 5pm. Must be very dependable and flexible to work overtime as needed.
